About me
I'm Abhay Subramanian, a Master's in Business Analytics candidate at Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota.
My passion for analytics started 3 years back when I was doing my undergrad in computer science engineering. I've always known AI revolution was imminent and since then I wanted to be at the frontline of this disruptive innovation using data science.
Actions speak louder than words so here's how I've delivered business value using data science. I've worked on -
• Multiple Linear Regression to predict donation amount from specific media channels to better prioritize allocation of resources
• GMM Clustering and Random Forest Regression to identify resource effectiveness in increasing test scores for 450K+ candidates and tests taken over 2 years.
• K-means Clustering to identify farmers with poor fulifllment rates and developed a new metric called 'missed opportunity cost' to improve demand planning.
• Contextual Multi-Arm Bandit model to predict customer worth based on behaviour and reactions to promotions and reduced customer churn.
• Ensembling model with LightGBM to forecast product sales for the next 28 days.
• SARIMAX time series model to forecast gross gaming revenue and tableau built dashboard to tune factors and improve revenue.
